at the beautiful Scottsville Camp and Conference Center
What to Know
Let your survivor be a kid again

Facilities
Campers enjoy air-conditioned cabins, swimming in the pool, fishing in the pond, three meals a day in the cafeteria, all the snacks they can eat in the snack shack, a basketball gym and plenty of outdoor activities.
Activities
Campers split their time between swimming, arts and crafts, chomper games, planning and showcasing their amazing talents in the CISM talent show and much more.


Arrival & Departure
Campers arrive on Sunday and can be dropped off by parents from 11 am - 3 pm. If you're coming from the Baton Rouge area a bus is provided. Please contact us for more information on bus times.
Food & Drink
Three delicious meals are provided each day at camp. Additionally there is a Snack Shack that offers treats throughout the day. Special meals are provided by our sponsors throughout the week including BBQ and a pizza night!

What is Camp I'm Still Me?
Camp I'm Still Me is a camp for young burn survivors to share their stories and experiences and heal from the trauma they have experienced.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Campers are divided into cabins by age group and accompanied by adults at all times. Typical counselor to camper ratio is 2:1.
What do campers need to bring?
Campers need a daily change of clothes and any toiletries they require. Bedding is not included so be sure to pack a pillow and some sheets or a sleeping bag. Any medications will be collected and administered by the staff nurse.
